21 July 1845

From: 1845 To: 1845

Magistrates: Thomas G Green, William Lynn Smart, William Shove Chalk, C C Beaty Pownall. 11 prisoners in custody. Ordered that Jacob Reid be removed to the Lunatic Asylum and that application be made to the Secretary of State for that purpose. Ordered that a nurse be provided to attend Fanny Church day and night agreeably to the recemmendation of the Surgeon. The chaplain returned hom on Saturday 19th instant. George mayes was unanimously elected to office of Gaol Cleaner at the salary of 14/- a week, his duties to commence forthwith.
