Surveyor's report re (1) raising widening and fencing the roadway leading from Holme Mill Bridge towards Biggleswade and Langford and rebuilding its drain arches (plan of area on reverse). As this work involves the pumping of water for laying the foundations of the arches he wishes to defer the work until the autumn. Estimated cost is £100. (2) necessary slight repairs and painting required for Girtford and Biggleswade Bridges to be done next autumn. Post and rail fence on the northern side of the Turnpike Road between Biggleswade Bridge and Wash Bridge to be repaired and painted. Estimated cost no more than £20.
