Magistrates: George P Livius, Charles Gillies Payne, Frederic C G Passy, William Shove Chalk. 43 prisoners in custody. 3 males received for trial during the week. 2 discharged - one by payment of debt and cost in case of bastardy - John Hillyard 8s6d, the other a debtor by settling with his creditor. Mr Passy undertook to pay the amount to Susan Cox in the bastardy case and the costs to the Clerk of the Petty Sessions having received the amount from the Gaoler.
