    Apprenticeship Indenture: James Foxley son of Thomas Foxley of Woburn, carpenter by and with the consent of his said father doth put himself apprentice to Daniel Cook of Bow Brickhill, carpenter and joiner. To serve from the date hereof for a term of two years. The said Daniel Cook doth covenant and agree to and with the said Thomas Foxley to allow the said apprentice one shilling weekly and every week during the first year of the said Term and the sum of two shillings weekly and every week during the last year of the said term, And his said apprentice in the art of a carpenter and joiner which he useth by the best means that he can shall teach and instruct or cause to be taught and instructed finding unto the said apprentice sufficient meat drink washing mending of stockings and shirts lodging and medicines all other necessaries during the said term. And the said Thomas Foxley doth covenant and agree to and with the said Daniel Cook to find and provide for the said apprentice sufficient clothes and other mending during the said term. 12 May 1810. Signed and sealed by Thomas Foxley, James Foxley and Daniel Cook. Witnessed by Thomas Day, Attorney at Law, Woburn and James Wright his clerk.
