- Scope and ContentApprenticeship Indenture: Nathaniel Lucas of his own free will and doth put himself apprentice to Thomas Lucas of Woburn, saddler and harness maker. To serve from the fourteenth day of January now last past for a term of seven years. The said Thomas Lucas in consideration of the premises and also in consideration of the natural love and affection which he bears his nephew the said Nathaniel Lucas his said apprentice in the art of a saddler and harness maker which he useth by the best means that he can shall teach and instruct or cause to be taught and instructed finding unto the said apprentice sufficient meat drink clothes washing lodging and all other necessaries during the said term. Signed and sealed by Nathaniel Lucas and Thomas Lucas. Witnessed by Thomas Day, Attorney at Law, Woburn and Fanny Lucas.
