    Samuel Bowman the younger: he received the application from reverend Arthur Ayres Ellis [A] and called a meeting of inhabitants of the parish at the vestry on 11 July 1863, minutes of which where produced [B]. In pursuance of an order directed by the Chairman [C] he made application to Marlborough Pryor and John Nathaniel Foster, 2 of her Majesty's Justice of the Peace [D]. Under an order of the Justices [E] he affixed notices [F] to the required locations. He produced the consent of Arthur Ayres Ellis [G] and Catherine Wilkinson [H] with respect to the diversion of the footpaths over their land. John Porter: by direction of the Surveyor of the Highways he affixed copies of the Notice to the ends of the footpaths. The notice was also fixed on the church door for 4 consecutive Sundays. The notice was published in The Bedfordshire Times on 25 July, 1, 8 and 15 August. George Jackson: the plan [I] produced was made by him to the best of his skill and ability.
