- Scope and ContentCancelling a recited deed of 10 July, 1661, which appears to be the same as M1/4/5., and stating that Silvester Dennis and John Buckworth are to stand seised of this property to the use of Matthew Dennis junior, and William Dennis. -- The manors of Kempston Daubeney and Kempston St. John's, with lands etc., adjoining, manor or mansion house in Kempston, and 26 acres adjoining, late occupied by Ralph Snagge, deceased, 7 acres of meadow in Earl's Holme, 8 acres in Ham Meadow, 40 acres of land occupied by John and Thomas Amps, 84 acres in Kempston Wood; the manor of Marston Moretaine, and 90 acres of land adjoining, late occupied by John Higgins, Ambrose Cooper and Silvester Doggett; Holmes, Gadwickes and Dovehouse closes in Marston; Ashcroft, Church, the Old Orchard and Redlands closes also in Marston, all which property was conveyed to Matthew Dennis by Robert Yarway, citizen and merchant tailor of London, and William Warne, scrivenor of London. Witnesses: Silvester Dennis, John Coles, William Holbeck junior, Mary Clarke, William Soulhall (?).
