    i) John Parker, Bedford, gentleman; Reverend William Hooper Parker, Saham, Norfolk, clerk; William Parker, Bedford, gentleman; Thomas Parker, Aspley Guise, surgeon; Richard Parker, Bedford, gentleman ii) George Witt, Esquire, Doctor of Medicine, Mayor of Bedford; Thomas Gwyn Elger, an Alderman of Bedford; Thomas Barnard, Bedford, banker iii) Thomas Barnard and Theed Pearse junior; John Parker, late of Bedford, doctor of medicine, deceased, was in his lifetime seized of - Property as in lease and release hereinafter recited; By will dated 24 Sept 1802, after death of wife, he gave real estate to son, John, for life, and then for son's children. William Wilshere and Henry Hawkins - trustees; He died 18 May 1809. Widow Mary died on 3 May 1826; John Parker, late of Kemble, near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, was eldest son, and Reverend William Parker, party hereto, Thomas Parker, and Ann Webb, late of Bedford, widow, deceased, were only other children of Alderman William Parker, brother of said testator, John Parker, living at testator's death; John Parker (son of Alderman William) died in May 1828, leaving William Hooper Parker, his son & heir; Ann Webb died on 2 Oct 1834 leaving William Hooper Parker, her nephew and heir; now i) have agreed to sell to ii) Consideration - £300; Interest in below mentioned messuages by indenture of lease and release of 24 and 25 July 1835 - Messuage, cottage etc near the churchyard of St Paul in Bedford, formerly in the occupation of John Sharrar but now of John Wood, being opposite a house formerly in the occupation of Richard Cave, merchant, but now belonging to Thomas Barnard; South, common street; East, Fish Market; West, St Paul's churchyard; Which cottage was conveyed to John Parker, deceased, by feoffment dated 1763 and made by Elizabeth Cave, widow; Because i) are not able to make a good title to the property the purchase money has been paid to iii) and invested in a 3½% annuity to be held to uses; sigs i); Witnesses: E Eagles, solicitor, Bedford; William Foote, Bedford; Daniel Twining, Bedford; John Goodman, Aspley Guise
