Of £2000 mortgage money [LS744] £700 was cash, £1300 residue as produced by sale of £1445 12s 10d 3% Consols. It was part of agreement for said loan that when pricipal was paid off, such payment should be effected by purchase of similar amount of Consols, and £700 in cash, and interest upon whole £2000. It is now agreed that said provisions should be varied, ie i) shall on 30 June next purchase and place to name of v), £1445 12s 10d 3% Consols and shall also on same day pay off said £700. v) shall surrender or assure said property in such manner as i) shall direct.
