To son John a cottage bought of Ralph Hare; 3 acres arable on Lawford furlong, on Masbrooke hill, and in Sixill field next Wootton; to son Henry £60 and best cloak; to daughters Elizabeth & Frances £40 each at age 21; to wife Elizabeth: A cupboard, 6 stools, joined form, 7 coffers, all the linen but 4 pairs of sheets, all the napkins but 6, all the blankets but 3, all the mattresses but 1, all the brass and pewter but the biggest pot and the great pan and 1 skillett and 1 salt and 4 pieces of pewter (5 to son William); half the wool and the woollen ""clots"" in the house; 2 bedsteads in the upper chamber, the little bed in the nether chamber, and wood to make a bedstead; all for life and then to children. Also £5 a year. Also a cow and a hog ""at her going from my farm if she and son William do not dwell together"". Also 2 barrels, 2 tubs, 2 ""Kinnells"", 1 great bowl, 1 feather bed, and all the bolsters and pillows but 2; also all the ""pullen"" and the [?raw] cloth now at the weaver's. To grandchild Agnes an ewe and a lamb at age 16. To son William, executor, the yellow coverlet, and residue of goods. If William marries without mother's approval he shall forfeit £10 apiece to his 4 brothers and sisters; any other child so doing forfeits £10. Owners or occupiers of adjoining lands: Francis Clark, esq., Mrs Smith, Henry Edward, Thomas Impey, Gilbert Stoughton, Paul Asledon.
