Recites:- (1) Mortage, 1672, of Thomas Feild, gentleman, to John Spencer, gentleman, of a close called Peaswell containing 5 acres; 30¼ acres arable, 4½ acres meadow, & 1½ acres of ley, (purchased of Daniel James). (2) Assignment, 1674, of (i) Field & wife Lettice; (ii) Spencer & (iii) John Knighton; itself reciting Demise, 1617, of Robert Hatley, esquire, to Oliver & John Harvey, & Oliver Peck, of Manningscroft Piece containing 10 acres & 17½ acres in Barsely Field, & Assignment, 1665, to Christopher Vivian & John Spring. (3) Covenant to levy a Fine, of Clark's Farm in Green End; 4 selions of land; 7½ acres; 7 selions; 5 acres called Long croft; & 7 acres called Wilden Mare Piece; 10 acres; 4¼ acres; 3 acres; 10 acres; & 1 acre (no details).
