    A Society called "The London and Provincial Building and Investment Society" has been formed to assist the members to obtain property. Money to be contributed by subscription in respect of each share amounts to £120 and i) is entitled to receive from the funds £1023 8s 9d in respect of share nos.- and half of share no.- ii) are trustees appointed by the Society Now in consideration of £1023 8s 9d paid to i) by ii) i) releases to ii) - said messuage as in ST1683-1684 upon trust for repayment. Power of sale in case of default i) agrees to become tenant of ii) of said property for £160 p.a. for purpose of providing ii) a remedy by distress for all sums of money which shall become payable. This deed not to be a security for more than £3000 Signature of i) Endorsed witnesses Thomas Bagster, solicitor, of Six Lane; William Lawley, 6, Red Lion St., Borough Also endorsed with declaration by the Trustees of the within written Society that Hannah and Mary Sykes, the co-heiresses at law of Joseph Sykes, deceased, have paid £670 16s in full satisfaction of all monies secured by within mentioned deed
