    To wife Margaret, furniture for 2 rooms, upper & lower, & such plate & linen as she chooses; also use of residue for life; farmhouse & close in Sandy in own occupation; 86 acres enclosed arable & pasture in Sandy; messuage in Girtford divided into four & occupied by Widow Lamb, Thomas Cullip, Mary Single, Frances Braybrook; messuage in Girtford occupied by Thomas Pinner; cottage in Girtford occupied by Susan Circuit & 1 acre; blacksmith's shop in Girtford occupied by William Richardson; authority to cut timber for repair. Then to Thomas Crout Sandon, eldest son of William & Catherine Sandon of Harrowden, yeoman. Then to Thomas McGrath of Biggleswade, surgeon & apothecary, & George Pedley of Potton, gentleman, trustees, for T[homas] C[rout] Sandon's children; in default of heirs, to William Sandon's son William (if they are under age when William dies, property to be sold & proceeds invested); in default of heirs, to William Crout, son of Thomas Crout of Biggleswade, yeoman, deceased. To nephew William Lyle & wife Elizabeth, messuage & 3 acres in Girtford occupied by John Tillcock; then to their son Robert. To Catherine Sandon, messuage in Girtford occupied by James Snoake, & 1 acre occupied by John Tillcock; then to her son William. To William Crout, son of Thomas Crout deceased, messuage & 1 acre in Girtford, occupied by William Jeeves. To John Pepper of Biggleswade, watchmaker, messuage & collarmaker's shop in Sandy occupied by John Woodward; then to his daughters Sarah, Kate, and Elizabeth. To Mary, wife of William Garratt of Blunham, blacksmith, messuage in Sandy occupied by William Circuit & Richard Fage. To Elizabeth, widow of Thomas Crout, cottage (copyhold) divided into two, then to her sons Benjamin and Henry. To William Pepper of Biggleswade, victualler, £20; to Thomas, son of Thomas Lyle of Potton, £5. Executors to erect brick grave & neat tomb with marble cover & proper inscription & iron railings to protect it. Executors T McGrath, George Pedley (to latter £25 each).
