To cousin Doctor Knightley Chetwood, manors, messuage, and lands in Tempsford, he paying all debts, legacies etc. To cousin Edward Harby, esquire, £1000. To godson Kensham Harby, son of Edward, £1000 at 21 years. To 'my woman' Hannah Locker, an annuity of £20. To 'my page' Joseph Barnes, £150 'to be paid into the hands of my friend Mr Jonathan Hooker, rector of Sandy, to be improved the best way he can for the educating and bringing up of my page to the university (if his genius leads that way); if not to an apprentice and setting him up when out of his time, the management of whom I wholly commit to the care of the said Mr Hooker'.
