- Scope and ContentShortly after the Easter Quarter Sessions George Henry Bandy the night watchman resigned; the Visiting Justices have provisionally appointed Charles Cherry in his place, this appointment requires confirmation of the Court. Henry Pearson, one of the warders, died in May, the Visiting Justices recommend that the vacancy be not filled up at present as the number of prisoners is not more than half what it was at Midsummer 1871.
