The Visiting Justices for this County have for some time been engaged in framing a code of rules for the prison, which they hope will shortly be completed. Progress of the works at the prison is slow owing to the delay of the contractor for cooking apparatus. One prisoner, John Roberts, has died since the last Quarter Sessions.
