- Scope and Contentto son James Randall of Roxton, cottage and land in Tempsford now in occupation John Whisson, purchased of Thomas Ellis, gentleman to daughter Editha Randall, household goods except a desk box, and £100 to Joseph son of Joseph Whisson of Tempsford £10, and to his brother Abraham and sisters Mary and Elizabeth Whisson £5 each to son in law Jonathan Rudd of Stratton, Biggleswade, the £45 lent him on a note of hand to brother Christopher Randall wearing apparel and to his two sons half a guinea each remainder to son James, who is executor endorsed: “James Randall the Devisee had 2 daughters Ann who married Richard Baxter and Sara who married one William Howard. Sara is dead and has left one child which is since dead....”
