A letter had also better be written to therelieving Officer of Dudley to enquire whether John Hughes the other prisoner above alluded to [see QGR5/539] is known in that Quarter, as he states he is well known there and that his parents live there. No prisoners employed except WIlliam Hill who is mending prison clothing and Sarah Darwood who is mending skirts and stockings.
