- Scope and ContentFriday 4 August: George P Livius. The female prisoner Sarah Dazeley who is condemned to death to be executed tomorrow seems much depressed and up to this moment denies her guilt. At her own particular desire Mr Gurry of Wrestlingworth has come over to visit her and is now in her day room with the Chaplain. Saturday 5 August: George P Livius. Visited the female prisoner Sarah Dazeley. She conversed in the serious charge on which she was sentenced to death. She in the most emphatic terms denied her guilt - up to the last moment. The strength of her nerves throughout appeared to me most extraordinary and beyond anything I could have conceived.
