- Scope and ContentOverseers of will: brothers in law George Fitzieoffery, esquire and Thomas Anscell, gentleman Testator has surrendered his copyhold land into the hands of John Browne and Thomas Horne of Kempston to the use of his wife Mary, remainder to Thomas his eldest son. To his wife all leases and estates for years in Kempston (except lease of 3 acres arable purchased from Edward English junior) and household goods and implements and stock on condition she takes no benefit from her joynture in Barford, and enters into a bond with overseers for maintenance etc. He has conveyed to the overseers by deed of same date as will lands to uses for sale etc., profits to go to younger children unmarried, i.e. Winifred, Amy, Elizabeth, Temperance, Anne, Ursula and Katherine. Portions to each £100 To sons Anscell and Robert £100 each Witnesses: Richard Warfeild, Thomas Carter, Francis Banester
