Scope and Content
Body to be put in a leaden coffin and buried 'in a very private manner' in the aisle of Dunstable Church in that part as is between Mrs Cheese's monument and the partition which separates the aisle from the chancel. Remains to be carried to grave by six of his tenants to each of whom he gives rings valued 10s 6d and hatband and gloves. To be no escutcheons or pall bearers. To be buried by daylight if season of year will permit.
All estate in Gloucestershire charged with payment of debts and legacies.
... to Mrs Elizabeth Patty who now lives with me, in consideration of her care of my late brother and her faithfulness in my service
- one annuity of £30 per annum 'exclusive of any husband she may hereafter marry'.
When his son is 21 he is to execute bond in £600 to ensure payment.
Fortune paid with his daughter on her marriage with Robert Ball, esq., shall be in full satisfaction of all claims she may have against estate
