    Conditions: Also commons for six beasts or bullocks during the harvest and winter season, and sheepwalk at all times, in the common fields of Upper Stondon (not being now enclosed). Excepted and reserved unto William Hull and Thomas Hull: the two groves or spinneys of wood as they have been kept heretofore enclosed with trees etc thereon, and commons in the common fields for 20 ewes or supples yearly. Lessees may take the herbage in the two groves with horses, geldings or colds 'saving the spinney of wood and bushes from byting of cattle as much as in them lyeth.'
