- Scope and ContentPhilip Hunt, Stephen Thornton. The Gaoler reported that on the 15th January 9 convicts sentenced to transportation were sent to the Ganymede hulk at Woolwich: George Wells - for the term of his natural life. John Hall, Samuel Hudson, Daniel Cook, Joseph Ball, Samuel Daniel, Matthew Parrot, Thomas Francis and John Carpenter for seven years. Being unable to leave Mrs Warner in her present afflicted state he had placed the said convicts under the charge of Charles Clarke and and James Morris, constables of Bedford, and Joseph Tansley and Stephen Prior, formerly constables of Bedford, and they had been safely conveyed to the convict hulks at Woolwich and a receipt oftheir arrival given by the Commander. 58 prisoners.
