- Scope and ContentPhilip Hunt, Thomas Barber, Robert Moore. The Gaoler reported that he had safely delivered John Northwood and James White to the convict receiving ship at Sheerness, to be transported. The Gaoler reported that in his presence, during the journey to Sheerness Northwood mentioned in the hearing of James White that he (James White) had once intended to burn down the premises of Mr Gibbs (his prosecutor) at Ampthill, but that he subsequently confined his revenge to destroying the trees and shruubs, for which he was sentenced to transportation.
