    The following manuscript is written on the inside of a parchment cover on a collection of papers “Records of Processes” at the manor court of Leighton Buzzard, 1655-1702. The parchment is 12½ inches wide and 9¾ inches long, and contains 47 lines of manuscript written on ruled lines. In this transcript the list of names which forms the bulk of the manuscript is set out in tabular form for ease of reference, and a stroke / is used to indicate the beginning of each line, with the corresponding line number in the left hand margin. 1.
