Recites: 5 June 1689. Mortgage (Black Swan etc, Shefford): (i) William Barber of Shefford, yeoman, and wife Ann (ii) Francis Brace of Bedford, gentleman (iii) Richard Lambert of Pavenham, yeoman. Richard Lambert's estate became absolute in law. 15 September 1791. Assignment to Edward Jackson in trust for Henry Whittingstall. 7 January 1709. Mortgage (Warren close etc, Bedford): (i) Felix Boulstrod of Shefford (ii) Thomas Janeway of Bedford, gentleman. 1 October 1709. Felix Boulstrod to Francis Bourne of Hertfordshire. 20 April 1710. Felix Boulstrod to John Hobbs of Hertfordshire. Premises have since become legally vested in Henry and James Whittingstall and William Long.
