- Scope and ContentSamuel Evrington [?] Milemore: he saw the prisoner on the night of 21 November between 8 and 9pm near the top of Bute Street. There was a great mob of person there and they were throwing stones at the windows of Messrs Munt [?] & Brown’s warehouse. He saw the prisoner throw 2 stones or bits of brick. The prisoner threw them at the windows. He counted 70 squares of glass broken. He later saw the prisoner in the mob. Statement of the accused: he was coming down the street and saw the other people. He stood looking at them as the rest did. He never picked up a stone all night.
