Gives table of Labourers' earnings & expenses, comparing periods 1669 to 1703 & 1780-7 (prices of wheat, peas, barley, malt, butter, cheese, salt, candles, soap ... clothes, rent, etc., & wages) with estimate of amount due to a poor man in order to place him in the same condition he was in 100 years ago, taken from his Toppesfield Accounts. Asks for How's corrections re. Aspley Guise. Note about Parkison's Essay on the Impolicy of the Slave Trade.
