Sebbie Darling, How’s our secret? Did you get my letter when you came back to Luton? Write and tell me what you bought for Mummy for her birthday. She would be surprised!! Both your Grannies tell me what a good little girl you were on your holidays. Did Harry take you paddling on the crags? Your Mummy tells me the dolls furniture arrived and that you liked it very much. The postman is bringing you three camels and a donkey soon, so look out for them. He is also bringing your Mummy some lipstick and rouge and you must not use it!! The soldiers will soon catch Hitler and then I shall be coming home. He is a very naughty man. Have you still got your photo album? I have a big one for you but am afraid to send it in case it falls into the sea and gets wet, so I will bring it home with me when I come. Kiss your Mummy for me Darling, and be a good girl. I love you and your Mummy such a lot. Good night precious, from Daddy. For you & Mummy xxxxxx
