- Scope and ContentLetter from Harding & Eve of Silsoe to Arthur Macnamara: “Your letter which was sent to meet me at Luton this morning surprised & much inconvenienced me by upsetting arrangements made to meet someone representing you today. Whatever the state of the furniture, about which I know nothing, it was only necessary to produce the Inventory and if any damage had accrued Ad. Pechell would have paid for it. You will please to notice that you & not I have taken the engagement. I have refused to go through the Inventory in the manner prescribed by the Agreement”.
