Letter from William Pardon of Great Berkhampstead [Hertfordshire] to Richard Pennington: “Will you kindly refer to the Memo of Agreement (which I left with you twelve moths ago) between A. Macnamara, esquire and Admiral Pechell in reference to the tenancy of Caddington Hall for three years to last Michaelmas, and let me know to what extent Admiral Pechell is liable for interior repairs, as he continued the tenancy from that date upon the same conditions & vacates next Michaelmas by notice to quit from Mr. Macnamara”.
