Scope and Content
Will of Ann Webb, Bedford, widow [for Bedford Archdeaconry original see ref: ABP/W 1819/6].
I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Bithrey all my wearing apparel both linen and woollen, my large mahogany dining table and tea table, my bureau bookcase and books, and my china, and all my linen except as hereinafter mentioned to and for her own use and benefit.
To my son Thomas Webb my large silver cup
To son Thomas, sons William and John and daughter Mary all my plate to be equally divided between them.
To son John Webb the bedstead and furniture, bed, bolster pillows, sheets, blankets and counterpane or coverlet to the bed belonging in which he usually sleeps.
To son William Webb bedstead and furniture, bed, bolster, pillows, sheets, blankets and counterpane or coverlet to the bed belonging in which I usually sleep.
To daughter Mary my other bedstead and furniture, bed, bolster, pillows, sheets and blankets and counterpane or coverlet to the same belonging.
And all the rest and residue of my household furniture and effects to son John.
And lastly do appoint sons Thomas and William executors.
2 May 1817. Witnesses Jno. Budd and Ann Budd.
Codicil: linen and household goods to be equally divided between my three sons and my daughter Mary Bithrey, the other things to remain as before, and suppose that the dividend on the debt need only be mentioned as the whole is not likely to be realised. 25 June 1817.
