My Darling Katie,
I must send you a little note by Uncle Willie he returns today and will bring you the map of England I bought for you and also a present for my Min.
I hope you are both good children and give no trouble to dear Grannie. I shall see you on Monday and perhaps stay a day or two with you. I send Minnies new boots, yours I will bring on Monday. Dear Mama is pretty well, she sends you both, with me, her fondest love and kisses.

I wish you could have seen two nice little girls dancing opposite my window just as big as you and Minnie.
