  • Scope and Content
Hopes his helping the Everards will not prejudice his friendship with J. Eccleston, (who has written that he hears they are at the Edenbury in Warmoestreet, Amsterdam & proposes to send a messenger to them if they are still there). Proposes that the Everards should go to Vianen ?, which is a privileged city & where they will be under the Governor's protection, rather than to Brabant or Flanders as How suggested. Isabella is not very healthy "I believe she is big with child". Encloses copy of answer to J. Eccleston : The Everards have moved away from the Edenbury & he does not know where they are going. Dutch magistrates would object to English interference in such a matter. Sent from Amsterdam.
