    i) Christopher Hoddesdon of Leighton Buzzard esquire. ii)Edmund Carvyll of same, butcher. Mansion house of parsonage of Leighton Buzzard – viz : the hall, the entry between the hall & the parlour, the buttery the ‘Woll’ house, the ‘Woll’ house entry, the garner, the kitchen, the larder, the boulting house, the entry between the kitchen & the hall; 3 little houses adjoining the the said entry, the steward’s buttery, the ‘vergys’ house with lofts, chambers and lodgings over them. -House adjoining called the Kyll house. -House late parcel of the Malt House. -Little court next the churchyard. -The great garden ‘commonly called the new garden ‘adjoining. -Strip of ground between the barn & the said garden. To be divided and set out as witnesses at sealing of this deed shall declare. -Orchard adjoining the south end of parlour, being within the ponds, as witnesses will declare. - Shop in High street near ‘Saracen’s Head’ in occupation of John Byshopp. Covenants :(1) before 25 March next (ii) to erect fence from south west corner post of barn straight to the kitchen side; i) to erect fence from other end of barn to Waterye Lane. 2) (ii) to have free passage through yard called the outer court with carts for carrying hay and wood; (ii) to make a gate at kitchen end. 3) (ii) to have free passage to the washing place at the river side, through the Hop yard ‘ by a convenient footpath from and over a stile’. 4) (i) & Deans and Canon Lincoln & prebendaries to have free passage to carry out repairs. (i) may hold his court in the parsonage hall, as in the past. (i) to have free passage through little court next the churchyard to any part of parsonage reserved to himself. 5) (ii) not to lease property without consent, except to wife & children. If (ii) wishes to surrender the property within 10 years & gives (i) 6 months notice, (i) to pay (ii) £10. 6) (ii) to return all ‘standerds’ & implements at end of term.
