- Scope and ContentRecites: a) Indenture of release between John White, heir of John and Mary White. - all that undivided moiety of half part of said John White. All that messuage and farmhouse in Great Barford in the occupation of --- Barton, widow. All of the barns, stables, dove houses, outhouses, buildings, gardens, orchards. All those 12 acres or arable and ley ground. All 11 acres of meadow. 4 acres of pasture. All of the close of pasture called Fishers Close of 5 acres. All of the pasture called Wren Park of 1 acre. Two closes of pasture called New Close of around 6 acres and meadow ground closes in the occupation of Thomas Dickenson. July 16 1754 b) Indenture of lease and release the release made by William Fitzhugh, heir of Sarah and George Fitzhugh. In consideration of £280 paid to Fitzhugh by Richard Willis and Elizabeth his wife. Fitzhugh did grant bargain sell. - all of the moiety or full half part of a moiety of William Fitzhugh (being one full fourth part undivided) of all the hereditments and premises aforesaid and all of the estate and also all of the other part of share of said William Fitzhugh . 22, 25 May 1755 c) Indenture made between John Sugars and John Baxter. - one undivided fourth part, to be equally divided into messuages, lands and tenements 20 April 1795 d) Chirograph of fine between John Baxter and John Sugars. . - one fourth part of two messuages, dove house, 3 barns, 3 stables, 3 gardens, 3 orchards, 140 acres of land, 20 acres of meadow and 50 acres of pasture in Great Barford and Roxton. Trinity Term 35 George 3rd e) Indenture of appointment of demise between John Sugars and John Grant. In consideration of £100 to Sugars paid by Grant he did grant bargain. - all that one undivided fourth part in the whole into four equal parts. 21 April 1793 f) Indenture made by John Sugars and John Grant. In consideration of a further sum of £50 then lent and paid Sugars by Grant. - all of the aforesaid mortgaged premises. With the repayment sum with £5 interest for every £100. 3 March 1798 g) Indenture of lease and release between John Sugars and Thomas Jefferies. Jefferies had with Sugars agreed the purchase of the freehold. Inheritance of said mortgaged premises of 21 April 1793 for £340 to Sugars by Jefferies, subject to payment of £100. - all that undivided fourth part, all of the premises houses, all of the estate. 2, 3 April 1798 h) Indenture of assignment between John Grant and John Sugars and Thomas Jefferies and Edward Jefferies. In consideration of £100 paid to Grant by Jefferies. - all the undivided fourth part of land, the messuages, farmhouse, land, estate. 21 December 1799 i) Will of Elizabeth Willis to give to her nephew, John White and 3 nieces, Mary White, Charlotte White and Susanna White. - all and every messuages, lands, tenements. 28 April 1783 j) Indenture of lease and release between Mary White and Susanna White, Thomas Jefferies and Benjamin Jefferies and Edward Jefferies. Reciting the will of Elizabeth Willis. - all that undivided moiety to be divided. Messuages, farm house in the occupation of William Brace, and also the 12 acres of arable land, 12 acres meadow. All that close of pasture ground called Wren Park. 2, 3 May 1806 k) Indentures of lease and release the release made between Benjamin Jefferies, Thomas Street, James Gibbon, Theed Pearse. Reciting that Jefferies according to the sum of £600 had applied to James Gibbon. In consideration of £600 to Jefferies paid by Gibbon, Gibbons made purchase. - the said undivided moiety on half part the whole to two equal parts to be divided, the messuage, farm land, 120 acres of arable land, 12 acres meadow, pasture ground called the Home Close. 7, 8 February 1817 l) Probate of the will of Benjamin Jefferies whereby he gave and devised his son Benjamin Jefferies. - one 7th part the whole into 7 equal parts to be divided up in all singular (messuages, farm lands in the parish of Great Barford). 14 August 1820 m) By an act of Parliament entitled “an act for consolidating in one act or said provisions usually inserted in acts of inclosure and for facilitating the mode of proving the several facts usually required on the pafsing of such acts.” It regards messuages, tenements, cottages and land in any parish manor and inheritance. 1801 n) By an act of Parliament in regards to property in Great Barford. Looks into the last will and testament of Benjamin Jefferies. - one allotment or parcel of land situated in the millfield containing 25 acres 0 roods 28 perches bounded on the south east of Goldington Turnpike road on the south west and north west by an allotment herein awarded the heirs of the said John Franklin and on the north east by an allotment herein awarded to the said William Pedley. - In pencil: The allotment was purchased by John Barcock for £1000. He has sold half of it to ------- Cumberland for £500. I want --- conveyance to the land is from the trustees of the title aforesaid of ---- J. L. Budd.
