    Abstracting as follows: Copy Court Roll of Admission, 24 Apr 1846 (see Z 590/18). Will of Charles Oney, 14 Aug 1833, in which he gave all his houses and land in Biggleswade and all other of his real estate and personalty to his wife Charlotte, her heirs, executors etc. according to the respective tenures thereof for her and their own absolute use and benefit; and appointed her sole executrix - which will was executed in the presence of and attested by 3 witnesses. Death of Charles Oney, 7 Oct 1853, and probate of his will in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 2 May 1854. Copy Court Roll of Admission of Charlotte Oney, as devisee in fee under the will of Charles Oney, 28 Apr 1854. After reciting and setting forth a presentment by the homage that Charles Oney late a customary tenant etc,. in his lifetime and up to the time of his decease held to him and his heirs according to the custom of the manor etc. - amongst others - the hereditaments described in the Admission of 24 April 1846 (Z 590/18), and a further presentment re the publication and probate of CharlesOney’s will, Charlotte Oney was admitted tenant of the aforesaid premises whereof CO died seised and devised to her by his said will aforesaid. Habendum: to Charlotte Oney, her heirs and assigns according to the tenor and effect of the will , of the lord, at the will etc. according etc. by copy etc. and the several yearly rents of , amongst others, 3d. and other duties etc. Fine: not stated. Fealty: respited. Signed by the Deputy Steward. Will of Charlotte Oney, 30 April 1861, wherein she is described as of Biggleswade, widow, in which she appointed her friends Thomas Handley of Biggleswade, collector of taxes, and John Barker of Langford, schoolmaster, to be executors thereof; desired that the whole of her property (freehold, copyhold and personal) should be sold and the proceeds divided as therein mentioned; and empowered her said executors or their survivors, executors, or administrators in like manner and with like power to sell by auction or privately and together or in lots the ‘Estates and property above referred to’ (with usual declaration of power to her executors of conclusive receipts to purchasers). (a marginal note alongside the last part of this abstract reads: ‘no manner of sale previously stated). Executed in the presence of and attested by 2 witnesses. Death of Charlotte Oney, 22 Aug 1861, and probate of her will, 8 Oct 1861, by the two executors in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury
