Indictment - Frederick Conquest and John Andrews for falsely pretending to William Seabrook that Frederick Conquest had never served in the army whereas he had served in the 16th Regiment of Foot, and obtaining 10s by Frederick Conquest enlisting in the militia. Frederick Conquest previously convicted at Quarter Sessions of Borough of Portsmouth on 6 April 1877. Plea not guilty. Verdict guilty.
