Letter from John Clutton to John Rogers. Relates meeting with Quenby at the farm. The stock had been removed and corn was ready to be thrashed. Had hoped that Quenby would have the means of carrying on the farm, but Quenby gave no information. Rent and tithe rent charge remain unpaid. The land has been heavily cropped and out of rotation; there is no proper preparation for wheat. Hopes the valuation will soon be settled.
