Memorandum by Cookson, Wainwright and Pennington of 6 New Square, Lincolns Inn [Middlesex]: “Manor of Eaton Bray – The “Cricketers” – N. B. It is proposed by Mr. Pennington and Mr. A. Macnamara that the Copyhold property known by the above name which was purchased by Mr. A. Macnamara out of his own money but which merged in the fee when he became Lord of the Manor shall be paid for by Mr. John Macnamara’s son as soon as an arrangement can be made to that effect. The price to be the same as Mr. Macnamara gave for the property”.
