    Manor of Eaton Bray with the Members conditional surrender by way of mortgage by Arthur Macnamara late of 3 Halkin Place, Halkin Street, Belgrave Square [Middlesex], now of Leighton Buzzard, esquire for £1,020 at 6% interest to Robert Arnold Wainwright of 6 New Square, Lincolns Inn [Middlesex], gentleman of (a) messuage formerly a public house called the Cricketers on The Green, Eaton Bray formerly in the occupation of Mrs. Mead, then John Tibbs [sic] and Richard Lott [sic], then George Abraham and Michael; Puddephat, then David Abraham, with yard, garden and orchard adjoining; (b) a piece of land numbered 216 on the inclosure map of one rood, one perch on the S side of (a) and bounded S by a private road; (c) piece of land of one acre, thirty nine perches on N of (a) and numbered 220 on the inclosure map The sum of £1,020 was the principal in a mortgage indenture of 23 December 1872 between (1) Arthur Macnamara and (2) William Strickland Cookson of 6 New Square, Lincolns Inn, esquire Declaration by John Warren of The Manor House, Streatham [Surrey], esquire and Richard Pennington of 6 New Square, Lincolns Inn, esquire, executors of the will of William Strickland Cookson of redemption of the mortgage by Arthur Macnamara on 4 September 1878.
