Letter from A.L. Warren. Thanks for letter at Southampton. Glad Mrs. Trevor improving. What was the matter with Mr. T.'s foot? Did that make his spirits bad? Left town 26th - when I applied for a chaise, found all the horses gone to Epsom races. Windsor was very stupid, the castle will be a long time before properly habitable for royalty. Southampton. Sevenoaks - contested election; difficulties of travel. Guided to a sweet little house 1/4 mile from town [apparently for lodging].
