    Parties: (i) Thomas Copperwheat of Cople, weaver; (ii) Susannah Franklin of Cople, spinster; (iii) John Franklin the elder of Cople, labourer, father of Susannah, and Robert Palmer the elder of Cople, yeoman Reciting: - marriage to take place between (i) and (ii) - (i) has released (a) and (b) to (iii) by lease dated 26 Mar 1731 [missing] - R6/14/3/21 Property: (a) Cottage or tenement in Cople formerly occupied by Thomas Sperry and now in occupation of Thomas Copperwheat, with 2 closes of pasture ground containing 3 acres abutting: N ground formerly of Matthew Watts; S tenement formerly of William Perril and now of John Mennard; E Cople Street; W furlong abutting into Cardington highway – with commons for two beasts in the common fields of Cople; (b) Cottage or tenement with ground abutting: W the street side in Cople; W tenement and ground late of William Arden; N tenement formerly of Matthew Watts – with one cow common in the common fields of Cople. Formerly occupied by Edward Sparkes, lately by widow Laiton and now in possession of Thomas Battisson Habendum: To be held by (iii): - to the use of (i) until the marriage shall take effect; - after the marriage to the use of (i) for his lifetime without impeachment or waste; - to the use of (ii) for her natural life; - after the decease of the last survivor of (i) and (ii) to the use of the heirs of (ii) by (i) or if none, then to the use of the heirs of (i) Witnesses: - William Franklin - Henry Horton - Susannah Moss
