Derwent Lower School, Henlow Camp; Raynsford Voluntary Controlled Lower School, Henlow; All Saints Voluntary Controlled Lower School, Clifton and Meppershall Voluntary Aided Lower School by including one or all of the following schools, then in the catchment area of Robert Bloomfield Middle School, Sandy, with which school relations became strained: Lower Stondon Lower School; Shillington Lower School; and Langford Lower School. The debate was complicated by the removal to Henlow of RAF Support Command Signals HQ, it being thought that large numbers of children would enter Henlow schools, in the event very few did. The file includes correspondence, numbers and predicted numbers of children in the schools concerned and 1983 prospectus for Henlow Voluntary Controlled Middle School.
