Regarding a proposed railway extension to Huntingdon, which he suggests should wait until the Line to Bedford has been constructed. 'After the next Session the futulity of the London & York Scheme, will, I conceive, become apparent & the extension then would be warmly supported...' Could not hope to induce shareholders to enlarge their subscriptions under existing circumstances.
