To wife Barbara, and kinsmen Sir Beauchamp St John, Sir Thomas Alston, and Sir John Robinson (executors):
(i) all manors, messuages, tenements and lands in Tilbrook, Newton, Wornditch, lately settled upon him by Sir Beauchamp St John.
(ii) manors, messuages, lands and tenements in Arley Has[e]ley and Cocell [Cosell] (Warwickshire)
(iii) half of 74 acres in Rolston (Leicestershire) purchased of Lady Skeffington.
(iv) messuage and tenements in St Clement Danes (Middlesex).
(v) messuage lands and tenements in Tit[ch]marsh (Northamptonshire).
(vi) messuage lands and tenements in Woodford.
To sell for payment of debts and taking of new lease for three lives from Bishop of London, of manors, messuage lands and tenements in Podington, Hogsden [Hoxton?], St Clement Danes etc., and payment of maintenance to eldest son St Andrew St John, and £1000 each to daughters and youngest son, and £1500 for unborn child (to sons at 21 years, daughters at 18).
To wife, household goods in messuage in which he lives.
To two brothers-in-law Sir Thomas Alston and Sir Edward Nichols, 40 shillings each for a ring.
To two sisters Lady Alston and Lady St John, diamond earrings which were his late mother’s.
To his servants a year’s wages.
