- Scope and ContentAppeal against the order of removal dated 3 May 1841 for William holley, the infant son of George Holley, a prisoner in the House of Correction at Wakefield, from the township of Pontefract to Thurleigh. It is ordered that the said order of removal be quashed. Overseers of the poor of pontefract ordered to pay Overseers of the Poor of Thurleigh 16 pounds eleven shillings and nine pence for their costs and charges in appealing the order.
