    Examination of Mary Ann Hall, wife of John Hall, tailor, residing at 3 Sylvester Row, Church Street, Hackney. She was married to her husband at Hackney Church about 15 years ago and hath issue thereof three children Emily Amelia aged about fourteen years, Sarah Ann aged about thirteen years, and Mary Ann aged about eleven years. Her husband is a legally settled parishioner of St Mary, Bedford, he was born in the parish, and was bound an apprentice to Mr Bailey of Cordell [Cauldwell] Walk in the parish of St Mary, Bedford, tailor, and whome her served for a term of seven years and resided in his masters house the whole time, and left him about 19 years ago. Ten years ago this examinant while living in the parish of Hitchin in the County of Hertfordshire her said husband being then ill applied to the parish officers of St Mary Bedford for relief and was relieved with 12s. Since that period her said husband has done no act to gain a subsequent settlement and he is now ill and unable to travel and has been together with this examinant and her three children aand been relieved by the parish of Hackney. Second copy of removal order with suspension due to the illness of John Hall.
