    1)Mary Bull of Bedford, widow; Robert Barry Stafford of Bedford, auctioneer, and Frederic Thompson the younger of Bedford, bookseller 2)Thomas Bull of Bedford, silversmith Whereas John Richard Bull, late of Bedford, was seized in fee simple of a moiety of premises in Ram Yard, Bedford; By his will dated 25 July 1876 he appointed 2) as executors and trustees; death of John Richard Bull on 10 April 1880, and proving of will on 11 June 1880; and 1) have agreed with 2) for the sale to him of premises NOW In consideration of £100 paid by 2) to 1), 1) conveys to 2) - all that moiety of J.R.Bull in building formerly used as a stable but afterwards converted into two tenements or dwellinghouses and since converted by John Bull into workshops and warehouses at the bottom of the yard formerly called the Ram Inn Yard but now known as the Ram Yard in the parish of St.Paul, Bedford, containing 18 feet in breadth east to west and 31 feet 6 inches in length from north to south, bounded: N, E and part W: Ram Yard W: building formerly belonging to Peregrine Nash and now to George Hawkes The tenements formerly occupied by widow Field and widow Almond - moiety of all that plot of ground to the said workshops and warehouses adjoining, being part of Ram Yard, containing 31 feet 6 inches in length north to south and 11 feet 10 inches in breadth, bounded: S: stable formerly belonging to Peregrine Nash and now to George Hawkes E: workshops and warehouses as above N & W: public yard called Ram Yard This plot of ground to be used by Thomas Bull in its present open state, and not to be fenced off or enclosed, and a free passage to the pump to be allowed to the occupiers of other dwelling houses adjoining - moiety of John Richard Bull in a building formerly used as a barn and since then as a barn and stable, and now as a coach house and stable with lofts over, formerly in the occupation of Abraham Carver, afterwards of Robert Taylor (deceased), afterwards of John Bull, and late of John Richard Bull and Thomas Bull, situate near the bottom of the Ram Yard, bounded: N: garden ground formerly belonging to John Cavitt and now to George Higgins S: Ram Yard E (part): site of messuage formerly the property of Richard Leach (deceased) and afterwards of Jacob Anthony, now used as a gateway leading to the rear of the George and Dragon Public House E (part): passageway leading to the George and Dragon Inn W: School buildings belonging to Howard Chapel erected and built upon the site of a barn formerly the property of Thomas Smith Endorsed: receipt by 2) to 1) for £100 Witnesses: Alfred White, Clerk to Messrs.
