- Scope and ContentSir Coventry Payne joined with writer in putting up a window at Grouville Church, Jersey, and inserted in it the history of the Payne family in french armorials. Miss Throder wrote to say Blood would pay Sir Coventry's share. Arranging matters with Debrett, hopes a '"little friendly chat with Sir B Burke" will "put Mr Salusbury Payne out of court". Prevented by Burke's "alarming fit of illness". Enquires over applications to Lord Chamberlain and Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire.
